Question To Mods, About Bins
Hello Guys! Havent posted in a while. As I check on a weekly basis in downloads section on bins, I notice that some bins have specific file fixes (ie; auto roll fix, auto date/time fix, channel change fix, EPG fix, etc etc). My question to you is, when a new bin comes out, does that new bin also include the formentioned fixes, as well as the "current new fix".... or do you have to load some of the old bins, for that specific problem, then load the next new bin for whatever problem you currently have.... like the new autoroll bin??
I would imagine that the new bins had all of the "previous bin fixes" included in the new bin. Otherwise it would sure be a hassle to have to load so many different bins, just to get certain fixes, as well as the latest bin fix... and would just drive me crazy to do so. THANKS GUYS for all you DO!

Here is how I do it. I usually do "Factory reset" and clean my receiver with the "Factory bin" first, before I load the new fix in. Do it that way, it will help your receiver run smoother

Thanks for the advice and tip Grasshopper!.... but this doenst really answer my question on new bins, if they have ALL of the FIXES, or just the specific fixes they list for. This way we're not having to load specific bins for specific problems, (A/R, Channel, Auto Time, EPG, etc). Again, I'm assuming that the new bins have all of the old specific fixes, including the new ones???

when a bin goes down, the new bin is a similar version of the older bin just an updated one that the coders had to adjust due to the new Map Stream to make the new bins work. they also add things from time to time to faciliate the use of our receivers. ex: faster Epg, clock setting adjustments , etc.. the newest bin is the only one you require for any receiver to work.

Good answer, I'm proud of you boy and you just brought a tear to my eye.
How fast they grow up, one minute your the teacher and the next your the student.
And visa-versa.
