im not 100% sure of this.

but i "believe" the Module needed to view dish HD channels can't be added within the box and sold as a regular 100% legal to buy-own FTA receiver.
as it would only serve one purpose = decrypting echostar birds.

thats why no HD unit i don't think will come with this,you will have to add something like that after,
this way the co's are NOT responsible for what you do with it once you buy it.

it is confirmed this unit DOES NOT support an add on mod for dish.-ever.
this unit will only work for bev.or OTA (over the air)
and wild feeds with use of a big dish BUD.for true fta hd feeds.

you use a 18" or 20" dish for bev at 82w (nimiq 2)

and/or a large c/ku band dish 6 footer or larger BUD-big ugly dish
for some true free to air high def channels.

it will set you back about 4 bills.($400us)
