boot60.bin
Before I screw my reciever up(Pansat 2500A) I thought I should ask for some help.
Everything is working great as far as the ability to watch TV.
My problem is, when I try to load a channel list my receiver takes a crap.
When using G-Tools to load the list. Everything seems to be going well but after the download is completed all I get is the Nightrider lights bllinking back and forth. To get the reciever going again I have to flash the box and the list download has failed. Do I need to re-boot the receiver? If so does anybody have the "boot60.bin" I could bumb off of you?
I would much rather find an easier sollution if it is out there, or should I live with what I have.
I'm getting frustrated and thought about nibbling on a gun barrel, but I'm not into toe tags.
I'm on a fixed income(retired) so sending it back to pansat is not an option.
any help would be much appreciated. Thanks for giving this a read.

How exactly are you downloading your list? Give a step by step. Lets make sure you are doing it right first.

make sure you change the STP type to 2 before you upload or download. i have never encounter any problem if you change the STP setting.
also,
the night rider can be fix easiestly,
here is how i fix the it:
goto the download/panst section, down the original pansat bin file, unzip the file(always)
turn off the receiver with the power switch on the back
load the 2300_2500_1500_Downloaderer program, select Pansat 2500A, load the pansat orginal bin file.
-turn on the receiver, wait 2 or 3 seconds, then click the download button.
this work for me everything time.
let me know if this fix your problem so i can sticky on the forum
-enjoy!

yep, that does bring my receiver back to life, but I still can't load in channel list---thanks
These are the steps I take in attempt to load the list.
1. flash receiver
2 find sats. (110-119)
3 scan sats
4 watch tv
5 disconnect receiver from tv/connect to computer
6 start g-tools
7 I open/inset channel list
8 com port to 4 (thats the one designated for me)
9 stb type = 2
10 start down load of the list
11 drink beer/wait
12 wait for download complete (OK)
13 watch Night rider light
14 throw beer can
15 light doobie
16 re-flash receiver
.
