Ready for pansat9000HD
I am ready to buy the 9000HD. I leave in bay area, I know this reciever don't get dish net. My question is if i set up my sat to 82 west will i get the HD? Any comments?

Are you sure about this stb.Because they are on nimig 82 yes.82 there are somewhere in the range of 30 to 35 give or take a few channels.
Flash the pansat 9000 HD via USB. It's the best way to flash. If you need help come back I can help you . Tango

yes this stb is ready for hd on 82 it does not have any way to add on a mod for dish net.but i hear it runs nice already and is a pretty good box.

ps though,just so people dont get confused! this box of course does dish net!!!
just not the hd channels on dish. but will get all on bev regular and HD.

The problem is I can not get BEV in NOthern Cal. What is the best HD reciever in norhtern cal?

Can I still use my super dish with this receiver to get HD? Need some suggestion what kind of HD reciever works in northern cal.

Sonicview 8000 HD is the best reciever right now in the market. Which super dish are you talking here? 105 or 121? a lot of HD channels on 129w

What you want to do Tacloban77 is type in lyngsat in your browser search bar. then go to the sat of your choice and hit the ku (all the way right on the lyngsat page) it will show you a map with areas marked in differant colors if you match your longitude and latitude up for where you live it will tell you what size dish is need in cm's to recieve the signal . Hope this help!!

My opinion is do not go out and spend that kind of money for a receiver to find out in a month that you get the same results from a cheaper receiver because Bev went Map4 on you.
