Pansat 250SM VS Sonicview 4000
Can someone who has tested the Pansat 250SM tell me how does it compare to the Sonicview 4000, speed, memory, EPG, and overall performance...

well the pansat 250sm has a HUGE advantage over the sv-4000 and the vs ultra-that is the new chip-VIRGO SE
this is the newest technology (you see this in many pvr units )
the new bin is looking better
we have 2 programs of epg on both providers now-very clean and accurate, this just came out.and there are MANY bugs right now.
the biggest bug is on some channels the pic is very jumpy/skippy.
she seems to keep getting cleaner and cleaner.
it does not really have much for features yet.
its pretty basic still.
keep your eyes on this one buddy.
i call the pansat 250sm the pansat "sweet mother"
if the pic where already clean and smooth-id call it by far the best pansat to date by FAR!-no comparison there really.

in the mean time.you can try using the loader and null cable and see if it will take the bin that way.
good luck.
