downloads for clones
I have read that there is a fix for some boxes that includes an auto roll...My first question is would there be one for a sonic sat stb? I have checked the lists in the forum but I do not see any heading for the sonic sat...I believe that it is a clone of a pansat as it has the same menus and features as my pansat 2500.....Is it safe to upload bins to the sonic sat for the pansat if it is infact a clone of that box?....TIA.....Adam

OK, I did some research on this and found out that sonicsat is a clone of coolsat 4000, they said to use coolsat 4000 bin, I have attached the link. Use this at your own risk, This is what I read in a post. I am not 100% sure this is correct, and do not want you to damage your STB...

I have the stb working now with the key codes...If there is a risk involved in loading this bin into a clone, I believe I will wait until absolutely necissary to update the bin file....If I need to do so I will get back to you with the results....Thanks much for the help

Sorry, I couldn't give you a more definite answer, I just don't want your STB to get destroyed...

Alright, the coolsat bin has been loaded into the sonicsat stb....the fires are all out and the dog seems to be in stable condition LOL ....Actually it wasn't that bad...The sonicsat would not respond once the file was loaded....When I hooked it back up and turned it on it just kept cycling the knightrider lights...I loaded the old bin back into the sonicsat and everything is back to normal.....Except there are no channels...There were no channels when I tried this so I guess that I am back to waiting for keys or if there is one, a possible autoroll fix for the sonicsat....the channels went down at about 430 EDT....if anyone has any updates after that time it would be appreciated also information on a possible autoroll fix for the sonicsat would be the best thing that has happened all day...Thanks in advance...Adam
