Questions regarding c/ku band.....
hi.. i m totally new to FTA.. i want to know something before i start to purchase anything.. at abadss.com..they are selling a complete pansat system for $299, it comes with a 30" dish and a ku band lnb. my question is with that complete system.. can i catch 61.5 satallite or.. so call asiasat 3s..??
what i really want is to get the asian channels (china, hong kong. VN.. that region). i live in northern california.. san francisco area.. is that possible?
i already have a pansat system that's catching 110 and 119 already.
any help is greatly appreciated before i made the purchase...

dssman.. thank you for the information.. that's the answer i m looking for .. lol...
dssguy's answer are great too.. all very helpful.. i thank you all for the info.
zar888.. i believe it might work.. but.. if with a 30" or larger dish.. you want to reserve that for international channels with a universal lnb...that's what i m doing now.... let's wait for the pros to answer that for you...
can anyone recomend a good multiswitch...?? i m looking for a switch that allow me to connect 4 independent lnbs together and output to 4 recievers. i've found some while searching.. but dont know how reliable they are.. and most of them allow only 3 lnbs..
thank you all for info.

I'm trying to get AMC4@101, using Patsat 2500A with 36" Fortec dish and Fortec KU band LNB (Lo Frequency range = 9.75 Ghz). What LOCAL FREQUENCY do I have to set up? Some one told me to use 10750 for KU band, but his KU LNB's LO frequency is 10.750 GHz. Can I use 10750 regradless what kind of KU band LNB I have? I'm trying to gather as much info as possible before starting to set up. Thanks in advance for your help.
