Quality bar for some TP's are not working, why?
I'm getting good number of channels but there are few channels I would like to get. I edited the polarity and added TP's based on the information on Lyngsat site. However, "quality" bar is still 0%, the "level" bar for the TP's in question is showing about 76% signal strength. What do I need to do to get the quality bar moving to 75-90% range?
Thnxs.

If you are missing the channels on the H tps, check to see if you are using a dishpro lnb.

Missing channels off of L and not H.
Surprisingly all the missing channels are on Vertical.

What type of lnb are you using ? Do you get any vertical tp's. Did it ever work before ? A type of lnb has a built in sw21 switch. If it is this type you wouldn't get any vertical tp's. It could be a short or even the lnb going bad. Just my 2 cents.

What bird are you looking at?
alloos,
Just to check I switched to legacy LNBs and am getting pretty much all channels from E7 and E8.6 on both the H and V. I am using a DiSeqC switch, but I did a scan without the switch and then added the switch in.
BUT...I am now looking at N1.3 and N2 at 91 and 82. I am getting most of the channels from N1(91) and N2(82) but am not getting anything from N3(91).
So I was wondering if you were looking at Nimiq 1/3 also and missing all the Vs from N3(tps 3,7,9,11,17,21,23,25) which by the way are all the tps from Nimiq 3. What bird are you missing the Vs from?

Using Dishpro LNB and now everything is gone.
First of all, sorry it took so long to get back, got busy with home projects.
Mountaineer and DSSGuy - I'm using DPro LNB. Sounds like it is a problem to use DPro LNB.
JPeterson - I'm trying to get some specific channels from E7 and E9.
Unfortunately, there are only few Vertical TP's I don't receive "Quality" bar, I did follow instructions on taking DiSec switch out and scanning, I did get some missing channels on E8.6 (that I was not expecting); but the same trick did not work for E7 and E9.
Another unfortunate thing we just noticed (minutes ago) that all the channels are gone. Anyone knows what's going on? It was working this afternoon.
Thnxs everyone.

Never mind about all channels being gone.
Surprisingly the cable that feeds the line to the receiver stopped working, changed the line and I'm back in business.
On a different note I see the latest Gtools channel list has all the channels I want to view, if I upload the channels using the Gtools will I have to re-scan (I don't think so but just checking)?
Thanks.

If you upload with gtools you won't loose them in the receiver.

Really frustrating
I get every **** channel except the three that I'm interested off of E9, can someone please check your system to see if you are getting the signal off of 12201H on E9, it is for Zee and Zee Cinema. I can see it in my list after uploading the channel using the GTools but there is no signal for the three channels I'm interested.
Thanks.
