Receiver Automatic Reboot

I'm using a D-Tv dish and hitting 91 (BEV). Quality is at 99%, but receiver keeps rebooting. I had it working last night after I did a Blind Search, but now all it does is show "Scramled" screens, then after changing channels, the receiver automatically shuts off and turns back on. Before it shuts down, a number comes up in bold on the receiver.....0 or 1 or 6 or 7 or 8. What do these numbers mean? How can I get the channels to work again? I'm not using a Diseq switch.

Well, I didn't try putting in the new fix 'cause it's already been done. What I did do is change my satellite selection (Installation Menu) to one of the Echos that seemed to pick up 99% quality. I did a blind search, but the channels I'm receiving now are still the BEV.... which is fine.

One thing I find is that when you try to change channels too fast or page up/down too quick, my receiver will shut off and turn back on. When it does do that, a number comes up on the receiver (either 0, 1, 6, 7 or 8) What kind of error messages are these?

I would check for a short in the line. I read a lot of posts that rebooting is caused by a short. If no short is found, try starting from the start. Set to factory, load pansat bin, load the bl fix, scan the sat you are pointed at. Just because you are getting a signal from another sat doesn't mean you can change to it. You must repoint to get it. If you are on bell, just stick to that.
