How can you tell if it is clone - ABA DSS

look at the back panel original pansats are made in Korea......clones are made in china

Hi my Pansant 2500A just went dead too after I loaded the file about 20 min. It made in Korea, I have no idea if it's real or not. I think someone fool us with the that name exactly the same and there is no way we can tell.

Read all forums related to clones or real boxes. Checked mine, everything pointed to it being a real Pansat, loaded bin 251 and killed it. So I guess it's also killing authentic Pansat's. Be careul.....

There are 3 different chips that Pansat used in 2500a so far and one of them is slower. Slow is Pantec clone as well because chip is cheaper. BL knew it , GlobalTech knew it but they proceeded with clone kill even they were aware they will kill a large number of Pansat 2500a with slower chip. They DID NOT CARE.
Now it will be easy to prove that information. Just check out what model chip you had in burned Pansat2500A.

well i have one of the bad combo's but still going strong after 3 hours last night and from 9:00am - 4:40pm (now). All is well so far just waiting for this time bomb to blow.

inside your pansat on the large chip in the middle and the smaller one to the right of center. Some people have a heat sink of aluminum with fins on the large chip so you can't see the info on it.

hard to believe that nobody has come up with a sure way to identify a clone (other than running the 251 bin).

i was told to tell if you had the real pansat that on the side panel youd have 22 vent holes mine has it.. my freind bought 2 of them off ebay and one has 22 and the other has 20 both said made in korea, but the one with the 20 vent holes is dead now, and the other been on for 2 days for him now. maybe we can find out all if this is true let all the 20 vent hold speak up if they pansat is dead
