DIfferent Problem
can someone please help me... when all the channels first started to move over to n2, all my channels would say "scrambled or bad connection"... my HBOs didn't even work... i've tried using the 251 bin as well as the 253, but i have the same problem, all channels read "scrambled or bad channel".. my signals are good, i still just get the ppv info channel (ch 500)... i've tried loading the factory bin in first... still the same.. my box stil turns on, so i know its not dead....could i be havin another problem?? please help!

Are you sure that your antenna is right pointed?

if i have good signal and a high percentage on the quality meter, then it should be pointed correctly, right?

Yes, it would give you good quality if it was pointed wrong. Did you try to do a tp scan on 119 tp freq. 12297. Their are 2 hbo stations on that. If you scan and don't get the hbo stations then it could be a pointing problem or a switch problem or a connection problem or a bad lnb. Do just the tp scan, if you get the hbo and they work, you might just need a new scan. If you do a scan connect directly to the lnb so you don't get ghost stations.

ok, i did that tp scan and the two hbo stations aren't there.... so i guess soemthing else is wrong... i'm gonna try to figure it out and play with the switch and the pointing... i'll do what i can, but any suggestions on what things i should try? thanks for the help...

Thats it. When the scan was done did the little window tv work or did that give you scram-bad channel ? Just a thought, go to parental control, second pin, type in your access # and see if set emu is on, if it is off,turn it on.

omg... i don't kno what the heck i did..... that little screen didn't work, so i exited the menu, it took me to channel 1327, which was working... i went to parental control, emu was ON, there was another option set default emu, i clicked on that and a screen came up saying saving data... i exited all menus and now allll my channels work!!!! i'm so happy to be on the same boat as everyone else, thank you!!!!!! =)

I got the same problem. My dish was aim and installed by dish network professional. I only got 3 HBO channels not PPV.
