Jtag Problem

My receiver is currently not powering up. I got me jtag cable and hooked it up to the receiver and one to the printer port. I ran the jkey version 2.9.11 and it detect it.
( Device Id: Ox1D405041) ( Device: STi5518mub-1) The problem I'm having is it gave me an error. ( Error reading from IRD (DCU peek) ) Anyone ever encounter this problem? And is there a way I can reset the IRD?
