Newbie Question regarding Setup

I 'm having trouble with the setup of my Pansat 2500A receiver. I followed instructions posted by DSSMAN at top of thread. I am using a Dishnetwork dish with a RCA dual LNB. When entering the Antenna setup. I input the following settings for Echo6.8/Ku:
LNB type: Standard
LNB local Freq: : 11250
22KHz: off
DiSeqC: off
Skew: 45 (the default was -45)
TP: [1] 12223 V 20.000
Positioner setting: Disabled
Satalite scan: ALL

My problem is i am receiving and 80% level but my Quality percent is at 0% I scrolled through all TP setting and tried to adjust dish position, but there was no change in quality percent. (oringinal sat. postion aimed at Direct TV bird.)
When I saved current setting, no TV channels where found. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the lnb going to the pansat, or are you using a switch? Make sure the switch settings are correct. Another thing, make sure you are using the " if "
on the back of the pansat.

Also, make sure you are pointing at the right bird.

The level only indicates that you have a good connection between the LNB and the receiver.

If your quality is 0%, then you are not getting anything from the sat.

Use a sat finder to find the satellite. Or make sure your Az/El are correct. Use a compass for Az and a protractor for El for initial pointing. Then adjust to get a good quality level.

Thanks for the help i got it working...it was pointing at the wrong bird.
