First of all, you have to download the Channel Master(It is posted more that one time),Then open it, and open your channel list.Conect your receiver to the PC, and check the COM port is working. With opened Channel Master, go to the left side and left click on favorites, select the Stb model you have.Go to tools and click on Write to STB,let it finish.Once you conected the Receiver to your Tv again, check the settings,Diseqs#,etc. That's it.(you can edit the channel list if you want, rename the channels, add channels,tp,etc, before downloading to your pc)

Sort of a big question ..
Hi ... i would like to find a way to get all the transponders that the 6.8 and 7 are carrying because i would like to make myself and customize a list of channels for my area mostly .. because now with all the changes or switches between transponders iget a lot of bad signals in some channels .. so i would like to make a list for the two birds with all the transponders that i can get that are working and then with the box to do a tp search on all of them and from there to be able to make my own channel list .. so it's just a matter of having a list of the transponders. i havde foud something on lyngsat bu they don't say the polarization if it's H or V it says only L and R and my box is capable only vertical and horizontal .. now these L ad R i don't know how to tranform them for each transponder ... so if you have a list or know a plavce where i could get the down frequencies of all trandponders or at least the most common ones please let me know .. thanks

Do a factory reset and then do a blind scan of both satellites. This will give you all the TP you can get. Then do a scan of both sats.

Bogus --- i hwave worked the whole day trying to make something as much close to my fixed idea .. to be able to get a channel list for me that will work and will stop giving me the bad or scrambled signal message. so i will say what i did.
i did everything the old fashion way :O) ... manually.
-i have the channel master so i have opened it an started a new channel list ..
-i got from lyngsat the tps for ecko6,8 and 7 and i have printed them out
-now i have added the first satellite and started to insert all the tps that i had from eco6,8
-now i have tried to insert the eco7 but it seemes that it had the same .. almost, the same tps so i have copied em to it (probably a mistake), anyway i put the channel list in the box ... by the way i have a 2700A so sorry for writnig under the 2500 but it was the only place where i could find some close infos ... so i have scanned alll the tps .. and it came up with 357 or so .. channels ..
i'm pretty sure that i have all the channels that i want now, but i'm a little confused .. i would like to understant this .. i have started to give a scan for the second satellite .. eco7 but it started to get the same channels ...
now i would have a little question about it ... both satellites use the same transponders ???? then what is the diference between them i would ask ?
i mean i would like to offer the chanel list that i have now .. so you or somebody that knows to take a look at it and see if i want to scan eco7 if there would be something else to change in the properties of the satelite in order to do the scan and get the other channels that eco6,8 doesn't get them ... ??? ok thanks and i hope im not to confusing .. if i am let me know .. :O))
thanks

channel list
You did it the hard way for sure. Try this,do a factory settings on the receiver this will wipe out the channels only.Unhook the 4x1 switch and run the cable to 1 sat or lnb.Do a blind scan to that sat, this will put in all transponders on that sat. Now do a scan on the sat and it will put in all the channell that sat has to offer. Now hook the cable to the other lnb and do ths same. Doing it this way will eliminate having ghost channels. Upload the list to channel master and save it and you can edit it in anyway you want use the functions in channel master it will take no time plus no human error.Hook up the 4x1 switch and make sure the settings are the same in the receiver [Diseqc].All of this should take about 1 hour with scaning taking up most of the time.Hope this helps. let me know.

converting channel list
Open the list in channel master and double click on satellites. On the box that opened select the type of list wanted and click ok to save.
