I did the procedure for cahngin keys and every thing is great. Even Fox news and cnn. Thanks a lot guys. You are the best!!!!!

The new key works. I don't own a 2700, but you may want to look at the instruction for 2500A. It may help you to understand your own machine. Here's what I wrote:

I will try to make it as clear as possible.
Understood that you have loaded the latest bin.

On the 2500A remote
Press Menu button - to go to Main Menu
Press Channel down - to go to Parental Control
Press OK button - to go to Change Pin Code
Press Channel Down - to go to Second Pin
Press 0000 (normally) - to go to CAS System
Press Channel Down 4 times - to go to Nagravision
Press OK button - to go to Nagravision-1 (look on top left - you'll see that it says so)
Press Vol up (right) - to go to Dish Network (which is shown in the box beneath the time)
Press Channel Down 1 time - to Key Number
Press Vol up 2 times - to go to Nagravision-2 (look at top left of screen)
Press Channel Down to enter Key 00
F2 98 74 44 1C 65 77 D8
Press Channel up to enter Key
Press Vol up to enter key 01
17 E3 E1 1D 89 4E 53 45
Once entered, press exit until you can watch TV

or right I press, I can't seem to find nagra2

With this recent n2 key change going on --- does this mean I have to do this everytime with my 2700a? I haven't had to change keys or do anything since the N2 went into effect.

the inst. for the 2500 and the 2700 are the same just do what the above inst. say

I made the change like noted. I went back and double checked that the keys are set. No channels, Help!!!!!

I followed the instructions above and I cannot get it to go to Nagra 2. It stay on Nagra 1.
What is wrong?

For those how need. after loading new bin re-set your default keys to see n2 setup

ohhhh ok. On a 2700A, after loading the new bin and following the above directions...
....
...........after exiting back to the CAS menu (The one where you press NAGRA)

Scroll down and hit -Set Default Key
After you hit that, exit out
and you should be watching TV.

Now why wasn't anyone able to put it it into plain english?

I am following the manuall instructions. If I press the volume up 2X nothing happens. It still syats as nagravision. Thanks

You might have the 117 bin and key default not activated.
