Homemade 110 & 119 Bracket - ABA DSS

Does anyone have good instructions on how to set up 110 & 119 on one dish? I remember seeing something about this before, but I can't find it anymore. If someone has easy directions to follow, please share.

I remember something about using rubber bands and putting the two lnb's side by side. Which signal should I look for first?

Get your self a Dish 500 with either a Dish Pro Twin LNBF or a Dish Pro Quad, You can also use other configurations such as Two Dish Pro Duals with a DP21 SW (Switch). You may find a Dish Network installer on the street willing to sell you these items, offer them 50 bucks or something.

stand behind your dish, 119 on the left & 110 on the right. Myself, I will try to catch 119 first and then 110. Go here

I had 110 only at first on a 18 inch dish and standing behind the dish, I put some velcro on the left side of the lnb and on the right side of the new lnb, I positioned the new lnb about an inch higher than the original one that was getting the 110 signal, I moved it around till a was able to get a good 119 signal and then I taped it with electrical tape, and is working perfectly, good luck.

You also have to make sure that the Dish is Level Vertically and at 45 Degrees, Basically Level the Foot From the front and the sides. I have ran into alot of Trouble Calls where the foot wasn't leveled. In some instances if it is just off by a little, 110 wont come in. Also, make sure the elevation isn't too low or you'll accidently pick up 129.

I got dish 500 and good signal for both birds 110 and 119. Load channel list (scanning) from 119 without any problem thru discq- line 4. Then I unplug line 4 and install line 1 to load channel from 110. Every thing went fine. Lastly, plug in the line 4 back to dicq (119). Finnally, I lost all the signal and nothing work.

Reset the receiver, redo the whole thing and only work either 110 or 119 but not both.

What did I do wrong??? Help !
