Guide Remote any good?

Anybody out there knows something about that remote that holds seven days of programming?. It's suposse to be good for dish network and is $50.00

It looks pretty cool I would try it out but cant spend the money I need it for rent. happy holidays

why by a remote that only work for seven days then you have to reprogram it? get a dish reciever use a sub or any type of card. hook up the cable, use the out for pansat, turn it on before the pansat let it up date and there you go program update everyday, even by the hour it you want it to

I need the preview guide and channel list for Philadelphia. There is a Philadelphia list in the channel list section. If I download it to the pansat will I have to rescan or reflash my box with the fix???

How do I add the guide with a dish receiver? What is a sub or card???
Are you saying that I can connect my pansat to the dish receciver and it will upload the guide??? Will it work withoout a channel list??

first of all, if you load a channel list you don't have to reflash or rescan, if you have no experience with charlie my setup would absolutely be wrong for you, do some research on charlie box and roms. and you still need a channel list for your pansat the only thing that the charlie box will do is that it will have the guide, on itself not the pansat which mean you will have to switch every time you want to look at the guide. the best way to use the guide is the internet then you wont have to do anything at all.
