bin is slow, channel changing and turning volume up long delay, very slow going back from one channel to the other.

i put the 9227 bin back in ,works much better channels respond allot better and my volume up and down back to normal, i guess i will just use it until this goes.

1.remote lag.1-3 secs.irritating.
2.when entering epg.there is a blue screen lag.
3.scrambled channel nag.
4.no/poor epg/info for bev.
5.STILL blue screen when channel change.2-3 delay.(old bug never fixed)
6.STILL no info for theme search.(old news.whats the sense in having theme search if you can't tell whats on?)
7.STILL no theme search option at all for bev.(never addressed yet,old news)
8.STILL green screen pixilation sometimes when channel change.(old bug never fixed)
9.STILL no current time displayed in epg.(old news.you have to check time first in info bar,which you always forget.and have to constantly flip out/in epg mode for current time)
10.STILL blank/empty spots in epg (old bug never fixed yet)
11.STILL no audio on many channels(old bug never fixed yet)
12.STILL a mess when changing audio on channel 100(old bug never fixed yet)
13.STILL cannot channel sort or it totally 100% messes up all your favs out of order and not even correct channels for favs can be entered.total mess.(old bug never fixed yet)

i'm sure there are more old and new bugs.but after an hour its clear to see nothing is being worked on with this.
whats seems to be the problem or explanation for no fixes for a $400 hd receiver that could be soooooo much more is beyond me.
sad state.
and i STILL cannot recommend this unit.
the 9200hd in its current state STILL gets the big thumbs down.

its auto diseqc feature is nice.and works well.i do like that.that gets a thumbs up.

i did not know it had auto diseqc, wow! i kind of agree with you to many bugs but it seem to be working OK so far for me let's hope it stays that way i hate when i get no picture but sound it drive me nuts, and yes the blue screen well we could only hope support changes for this product.how do i use auto diseqc? Thanks

i do like that you could scan local hd channels through your house antenna.

I do not own one of these but know two brothers that do.The guy that bought his first(older,new unit)The new fix works fine.The younger brother with the 9200HD bought 3 weeks ago,the unit slows to a crawl on everything,channel changing etc.Now the younger brother wants me to send back a unit that works fine with all other fixes but the newest.I just think it's a bin / hardware related thing that will be fixed.
As I've told him,I don't see how you can get an exchange on a normally working unit....What do you think?

You need to erase any extra transponders found after any blind scan.

Erase it after channel scan

Dont erase HD transponders for DN which are the ones with 21500 instead of 2000.

It also helps to erase sats that are not going to be used.

It just doesn't make sense,if that were the case,why wouldn't they both have this problem?

he needs to do a factory default and start over.it should be as good as the other one.as good as it gets anyway.

this has 128 mbs of sdram and 8 mbs of flash rom.
it can hadle thousands of channels on there as far as this part is concerned.
hardware wise is top of the line all the way.
but that all becomes loot if it doesn't get the software to drive it.
