Re: Annoying Menu blue background on the Pansat 9200 HD
Hey, this sounds like one of the problems I am having with my Panny 9200HD. I get the blue screen with great audio and no video. I placed a post in the Pansat section approximately three weeks ago, with no responses of value as of yet. Would really appreciate any validated response. I am not really a rookie so, I have gone through all of the steps to eliminate obvious problem causes. I have verified/switched lnbs, verified/switched coax and patched using virgin and the latest files.

DREAMFOX1, when you get the blue screen do you receive audio only or are you able to receive video at this time. Are you having any luck with video using the current bin, or do you have no video on N1 and N2 like me?

Re: Annoying Menu blue background on the Pansat 9200 HD
jeez, this thing is like the 80's strikes back still.i don't get it out much as it just irritates me.its like a super powered slug lmao all show and no go.
yeah bright blue screen STILL there after all these months between channel changes.
epg still not much to look at either after loading it.
hey look,STILL no current time in the epg either:
and of course the fabulous blue screen we all love so much lmao:

Re: Annoying Menu blue background on the Pansat 9200 HD
ahh.still can't sort channels.it messes up all your favs.you can't even delete them either.you have to factory default and start over.
what a mess.months latter and still same old stuff.
it reminds me more of a comadore64 than a state of the art hd system.
back to self this goes before it drives me crazy again.
tho i am kinda curious if pic stays steady at least now.i guess i'l check it out for a few hours and see if that split screen/green bars stuff comes back.if so i'l post a pic of it lol.

Re: Annoying Menu blue background on the Pansat 9200 HD
dang.well as we know this thing doesn't really have any features to speak of.
like scheduling for example.well i got thinking.what if i setup the sleep/wake timer as scheduling as it has many you can set and even durration time it goes off.(not sure if it work lol)
well i tried it,but dang.it doesn't work.not much surprise i guess.dang.a feller could have used that to make some recordings at least (if pic does stay steady enough now)with external pvr methods.
anyway,it wakes up to the wrong channel.i wounder if sorting channels messes this up too.a factory default is in order to test it again i suppose.
here is what it did after wake up then pressing epg:
all messed up.perhaps all one can do with this unit is simply bare bones still then,i'l try and make use of this somehow as the pic is simply bad ars.
you can't use it by itself****e another unit with the advanced searching features then just set wake timers to match.
but that don't even seem possible.besides that it would take forever setting event timers like this, but hey,at least if it would work.
hmmm...........
what the heck.i'l keep playing with it.
