Another newbie question

Background: I have a single LNB Dave dish. Not positive but I think it's pointed at 101. It was working with a Dave satellite recently. I have verified that I am connected properly to the 2500a, but have not downloaded any software. At this point I wanted to see if I could get any FTA channels on AMC-4 since it is located at 101. I AM getting signal levels of anywhere from 68 to 82% on various satellites, but I am getting 0% signal quality on all satellites including AMC-4 which I thought I was pointed at. The signal level on AMC-4 is 82%

Question: Does this sound right? Is it typical to get 0% signal quality on all that are not in direct focus. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the receiver or if I simply need to get on the roof and focus in better on at least one satellite.

I appreciate any educated inputs.

You need to have a 30" are larger dish to get AMC4.

Another question: If I get a Dish500 dish to get both 110 & 119, is there any preferable LNB or hardware considerations. i.e. SHould I get one with built-in switch or SW21 etc. What works best?

dish 500 DP is little harder to setup. the legacy lnb are easier.
