Hello all! New to programming my own receiver (someone else used to do it), Once a new bin is out, and it has been saved into my computer, where does that bin get saved/extracted to? Am I supposed to send/save it into Channel Master, or is it supposed to be put into another type of program to load it into my receiver? If its another program, what is that program called, and where do I find/get it?
Also what are the differences between them, and what is the best one to use (143, 144, 147, 148, etc etc.) I'm using the 2700.
Speaking of 2700, how do/can you tell the difference if the unit is a clone? Thanks for all of your help in advance!!!
Look at the Pansat 3500 setup guide at the top of this forum, they both setup the same way [3500 & 2700]. Just use the loader and bin's for the 2700. Channel msater is the same for both. The 148 has problems and the loader they packaged with it gave some people trouble. The 147 works good.
Set up a folder on your desktop and rename it (i.e.Pansat) or what ever you want. Then when you use your Win Zip to open the program you can extract it to your folder that way you have all your files in one place.

Actually I was able to get the bins from the "Downloads Section" and was just a regular member. I think you only have to pay in the "Paid Membership" area to get "Channel Lists". Otherwise you'll need to do your own Satelite Scans in order to get your channels. I know for me, Scanning your own Sats are a hassle and are VERY TIME CONSUMING!!! So getting a channel list from members or this site is much faster (Paid Area). Then you can just edit what you dont want.
PS, Thanks to all the Moderators for all your help and all that you do! I know that you hear ALOT of the same questions over and over each day, because members want a quick fix.... but too, sometimes its time consuming to search thru months and months of forums in order to get the answers we need. But we really appreciate your patiance!!
Where to load bins?
