Question Sudden signal loss!!!!!

I have a 2700A with current bin 272. This particular receiver shows exellent quality signal of 98%, but after 10 to 15 minutes the signal quality decreases amazingly to 25%, in all the tps and both birds (110.0 and 119.0) I have another receiver that works perfectly good. I tried to loading 115 then 272 finally upload the channel list, and nothing on the first receiver, the second receiver keeps working fine, I took it to another house with the same setup, and it does the same. I'm afraid the receivers is about to stop because it can handle the load, hope not, and is only with one receiver

Try a factory Bin and put it on a free channel and see if it still does it. Or you can move it to a different location and see if that works. Let me know and we'll come up with something.
And try this.http://www.abadss.com/forum/29522-post10.html

I loaded everything again, and the location was on top of the tv, and the vent holes from the receiver were'nt obstructed. I plugged the receiver after a few days that was sitting in my closet. After aproximately 50 minutes the quality level droped again, and the temperature from the receiver reaches 60 degrees, which is not even hot, is the same dilema as if it was about to rain when the sun is shinning outside, is making me nervous. Even GOLTV has the same issue, lots of tiling on the screen, then eventually all disapear could it be a bad unit? the thing is that it worked fine for about a week

We need to do a process of elimination. First unplug the cable from the Antenna to see if it reboots without it. Then check all the connectors to make sure there is no rust, Next if you have a switch change it out. and last is the LNB of trees.

Could be a problem with your disc switch if you have one, it may be on it s way out, replace disc switch should be fine after that.

Okay when I unplug the sat feeding coax from the receiver after few minutes that the receiver has been off, then the epg loading shows in the screen, but like I said before, in about 35 45 minutes the quality level drops, like I mentioned above. Cables, fittings, rust/water in the line are not the issue, when I switch receivers the other one works just fine, its alwasy been fine, believe me!!, I'm out of ideas

I got a dishpro with a dishpro+ lnb properly installed. I got another receiver with the same setup and that one works just fine. But thankz for your concern in helping me with my half dilema, the other half of my dilema is the ppvs down that we can do much about it until the new fix is released. Thankz again

Yea it's time to buy a Viewsat 7000 PVR. And as far as the Pansat goes, go to Pansatusa.com and see if they can fix it.
