Sat button on remote control help

when i click on my Sat button on the remote control you get a Satellite List

ALL
echo 8.6/ku
nimitz2/ku
Echostar package

my question is how do i remove let say nimitz2/ku so it doesnt show on this list any longer?

go in to scan satlitles and uncheck the checkmark by pressing right or left or delete it by going to channel edit and pick what sat you want to delete

i tried it and its still there . i delete everything nimitz but for some reason it still shows up on the SAT button when i click on it on the remote as listed above.

Just do a factory reset and then reset your settings and add only the satellite you want.

yepp, that is the only way to get it out, no other way to go around it

detailed instuction on what clkesapp suggests,
go to menu/ channle edit/enter password/delete/press OK/scroll right till you see nimiq (or whatever bird you want gone)press OK again to delete them tv channles.
exit.
go to any channle.now press SAT button (bird may be gone now from the list,if not continue)
select ALL,then select any channle,wile on the channle press TV/RAD button,press exit.now go to menu/chann edit/delete/scroll to find the bird again*this time it will say channle edit-radio at the top*
delete it there again.and you will find that nimiq gone from the list.
****this sounds like alot,but belive me,its very simple as you do it,and much faster than a factory rest****
plus it helps you learn how to use your 2700/3500 menu better,try it if not just for fun.

yes you did buddy,i didnt know how much he knew about his stb,so i just gave detaild instuctions on what you said.

There was an easier way. All coorslightly had to do was hit the SAT button, choose Echo 8.6/KU and immediately change to different channel in the box that pops up. Then, he would only be viewing that satellite's channels (Echo 8.6/KU).

A BIG TIP, if you hit the SAT button, select Echostar Package, then immediately select a different channel in that box that pops up, you will now find that your channels are placed in the proper Dish Network order, including the spaces in the numeration of the channels, the same way Dish Network lists them!

Just remember you have to be quick, just simply go down one and hit OK to change the channel. Now, Hit the EPG button and survey these results!

One word on switching between TV/Radio, you will have to perform this procedure again when you go back to TV mode, but it is a very simple one.
