How to Get Locals on 2700a

After we went down.. i found BEV tv very boring... now that its down -- Local programming isn't much better (but better than nothing)...

Here's how to get it with 2700a
1) Load BIN 272
2) Get latest Channel Master list and load it (I deleted all the PPV and other channels that are not coming in (no need to tease myself until the new fix is here)
3) Enter the latest KEYS (not sure if I really needed to do this iwht BIN 272.. but did it anyway
4) Sit back and enjoy the wonderful would of local programming... and the predictiable local news casts that asked thoes burning questions: (How safe os your car? There is something in the local water than can kill you.. and it is so important.. we'll tell you about it at 11.. stay tuned LOL)

I found all my locals (as well as surrounding states on Sat 110.... it may be diffrent for you. Note: You will only get the channels that are "spot" beamed to your area.... anything "conus" will not show. (see http://www.lyngsat.com/). Good luck.. and get a good laugh at all these local car dealer ads... they suck

step 3 is needed yes.(autoroll is only good for the first time)
try keymaster link below.very easy to put them keys in via remote.just be sure to save.
also you will get sirius and other radio channles.

here is a tip also.
tune to channle 100 (dish home)
you will see 6 channles in small boxes.
i know,not great,but hey its making best of what we have right.
now to get sound on the channle you want.
press audio button.to find all 6 audio for the video.
here are how they relate to witch channle:
1.tnt
2.fxnws
3.espn
4.cnn
5.twc
6.trav
hey its small pic,but sometimes its nice to turn on and just listen anyway.
check it out,6 channles,better than locals sometimes still.

I have the 272 bin ver 6.2 loaded

I then turned off all autoroll oprions including keycode

Loaded newest keys as of 3:00pm today 8/10

Getting scrambled or bad channel message on all locals

PS I dont have any channel list loaded just the manual scan can someone bail me out I want to catch some games this weekend

why is the autoroll option turned off?

If it is not off it will roll your key data to something that doesn't work. You can see it for uself.

I DID A FACTORY RESET AND NOW I HAVE NO QUALITY ON ECHO 7 OR 8.6. WHY HAS THIS HAPPENED AND BETTER YET HOW DO I FIX IT?

first of all, have you checked to make sure your DiSEqC setting are matched to the proper ports ?
second have you double checked your antenna connection
third did re-install the proper bin and then manualley enter the current keys?

be sure to turn ON keycode.
if you turn that off,that will turn off the keys!
you probly are getting the radio channles that are fta(withought the $ sighn)
turn them keys back on buddy,and make sure to enter the new ones listed in the keys section,all will be cool.

Rescan your satellites and remember that we only have locals! try blind scan.

If you did a factory reset then you erased all your settings, go back and reset them.
