Don't bother with the link posted above you have to be a paid subscriber to this site to gain access. Instead try this link for instructions but make sure you punch in the latest Key's instead of the examples:

I used the following Key's instead and it worked on my SV4000 it should work for SV1000 as well (Applied 8/16/07 and worked for me) :

we just ried those keys to our sonic view 4000 and it didn't work we are new to this so maybe we did something wrong ... how long are those deys good ... should we turn our auto roll back on afterentering the keys and dow we have to shut down before keys work???? help

Where do yu go to get the keys ... the ones posted for the Bell.... we couldn't get to work...or we did something wrong ...which is possible.... Help...

Yes, Always turn auto roll OFF first, then change keys manually. Leave OFF till we get new auto roll fix...

Donna, most people have trouble after they enter 7890, after you do this, the word (code) will appear, hit the OK button on your remote. Then you will see the key field, the first two rows 10 and 11 are for 00, and the second two rows 20 and 21 are for 01...hope this helps a little...

Why do we need to change keys? I have all my channels when I get new bin's. What am I missing here?
