what they did is do factory default. all it did was wipe out your channels , the bin file is still there just redo a scan of your sat . thats it.

Re: accidental reset

I have reloaded the new bin for my sv4000 and it still says please wait for update. When I load the bin it says no tv channel. I can manually add the keys from yesterday but it still freezes up. What should I do?

what bin are you using? if it is the new one 169 then do a hard reboot turn off in back wait for a few sec. then turn on. make sure you have the new keys put in the provider 0101 and autoroll is off. if you have not done a scan for channels then do one and you should be good to go. you can scan or put keys in does not matter what order you do them in. let us know how it goes.

sorry about that i just saw that. forget turning off autoroll, do the hard reboot and if you have not done a scan for channels yet do that and then let it update should not take that long

before loading a new bin you should always load the factory bin at least 2 times then load the new bin and scan for channels this is done to clean up your receiver. you do not have to do it but it is like doing a defrag on you computer it should be done. all channels are working as of the now try the rescan.
