No Info on EPG

I did a factory reboot not long ago, and cannot get any information to populate on my EPG. All channels come in, but show no information. Can someone tell me if their is a setting to check or what can I do to fix this? Thank you in advance.!!

Go to Menu / System settings / User options / (channel), and turn everything to ON, except the auto dolby select, turn OFF, select your state and then your city closest to you that has the major networks. Now go to Menu / System Settings / User Options (Misc), turn all On except Closed caption, turn off, set guide date to seven days, using right arrow on pad, Exit out, and put on channel 239 (WGN), Dik net, pull up guide (EPG) and wait 5-10 minutes for guide to populate, or with your remote, press the red button (large button at top), this will turn OFF your STB. Wait a good five minutes and power back ON...

I did as you stated, still no information. I tried it both ways, with same result. Then I made sure time and date was right. that was not easy. When I did a hard reboot it went back to Jan 1, 2000 for the date & time was off also. I did try just using the red button for reboot first, waited 10 minutes then turned it back on with the same result. Then I tried leaving it on EPG, on channel 239, with the same result. Any more ideas? Thanks, again for your help.

Still no info on EPG can anyone help me. I tried the above on WGN, but it still did not work???

I have the sv4000 end what i do is live the remote at 432 for 5mns

If you have applied the settings like I said, there is no reason the STB should not work. When you put on channel 239 (WGN), are you pulling the guide up. The guide will need to be pulled up on screen for the guide to populate. It should take no more than 5 minutes...
