Can i use a USB cable to go from Computer to Receiver???? if So HOW???

I have 232 cable but could not get it to work.. Really don't know how

You need to get a usb to serial adapter.

You need to install the driver for it in your computer before you plug it in. You will then need to plug your rs232 cable into the adapter and you will most likely have to use com port 4 or 5.

also is the 232 you have a null or straight through

maybe you have a problem with the usb port but don't know thats why i am going to say can you not load via usb drive ??

if not you can go to any computer store and buy a null modem cable ..for 4 bucks ..

I have a USB-A to Serial Cable i dont find anything that is a NULL Cable. So I either need to buy a NULL or buy a thunb drive, IS THIS CORRECT

You probably should have received a cable when you got the receiver. If not a thumbdrive is bar far the best and easiest way to update the receiver.
