Reciever problems

hey guys i was looking for the aadvice of someone who is quite fimiliar with the sv4k a few weeks ago i had to move my sat and when i didmy diseqc switch got some water in it or something because i comletely lost signal strength and quality so i bought a new one i just received today its a digiwave 4x1 which i was told would work but i hook it up and nothing is it possible that i may have shorted my cables out as well any help would be appreciated ty

what kind of setup are you testing? dish? lnb? settings?

Try connecting them one by one with directly to the stb and if things still work then you know it's not an equipment problem.
