Re: Help with SV4000 file
Unplug your receiver for two minutes then plug it back in use your serial cable to reload your factory files and the latest bin by the way redown load latest bin and make sure you have latest sw loader to do this. that should get you back to normal.

Re: Help with SV4000 file
Apparently there is gr8 deal of input for you to get it back to normal...i will start with disconnect from all power sources n isolate the box -pause a while like 5 minutes or so..reconnect n reload the relevent bins - reboot again..in the meantime reboot ur PC as well as u sud dl fresh set of software tools for the project..

Re: Help with SV4000 file
hi Just4
I have disconnected the power from my unit for a few minutes and did a factory file 2006--a couple of times, and reloaded 257. Then I did a factory reset. I am stuck on 250 but still getting all the channels. I deleted all unnessary files from the unit before uploading. I also reformated my usb. Thanks again for al the help. The only thing I don't have is a null cable.

Re: Help with SV4000 file
thanks to all you guys for the inputs. Just got home from work and back to my SV4000.I tried factory reset and factory bin reinstall using usb rs232 cable. Everything loaded fine but still I can,t seem to load 257 bin. It just stays at 250 P.I,ll just shut down everything for the night and see what happens tomorrow. By the way I was getting all channels on the 250P bin just fine.

How are you doing?? Are you still up and testing fine? I wouldn't concern yourself with what is showing as long as you aren't having any problems. My SV4K is showing 250 still too, but if it works, that's what matters. LOL
The freezing has been a problem for everyone the past week or so. Could be a number of reasons for that, but there doesn't seem to be a "fix" for it yet. Please let us know what's happening now...Thanks
