OK Folks - I know there are a lot of members that are curious to what the SV8000HD can do.
I have posted a link to some pictures that I took while testing my receiver. I have not made a overall review (yet) but each picture at this link will give you a little description of it.
All you need to do is click on the image and it will be enlarged for you.
I have included several different DN sats as well as BEV's.
There are also pictures of the 8PSK module and sub-board before , during , and after the install.
If you have any questions just post them here,
Open & Un-modded

Size comparison to the front of the receiver. Note the 5 each small screws and foam spacer. The foam spacer is used to support the module and sub-board asslembly inside the receiver and the screws are for the housing cover. ftaconcept.com

Bottom view of Sub-board and 8PSK Module connected together
Notice that I connected the sub-board and it's cables before putting the module into receiver
Looking down on receiver with installed module
I clipped the tie wrap off of this connector which allowed me to hook up the connector into the sub-board assy.

How to hook-up the loop-out in the back of your receiver after the 8PSK Module is installed
Looking down on the 8PSK module before installing it into the receiver. Note the IEC 169-24 female (coaxial) connector sticks out through the receiver housing
Looking down on the original unmodded receiver. Note the location of the cable in the top left corner. That is the power connection cable that gets connected to the sub-board assy. You need to clip the tie wrap that holds it in place first.

Back of receiver just before you install the module and sub-board assy. You can see the original decal over connection port is removed. Free files download at ftaconcept.com
Back of receiver in it's original state with decal still in place.
