Help with sat dish

Plan on getting an sv-8000 soon with adapter for dish, currently runiing dish and bev with 2 dish legacy;s on my viewsat, I was hoping if someone could tell me if I need a new triple lnb dish to recieve most hd channels or do the legacy;s support hd signal? I dont mind spending money on the hobby, so what is the dish i need?

You will want 129W for HD, and I've never heard of anyone using a legacy LNB to get that. A ready-made dish for 110-119-129 would be DN1000.2(internal switch) and one for 110-118.7-119-129 would be DN1000 Plus(external switch).

you could also get another dish with just 1 lnb pointed at 129. the signal is a bit weaker so a nice 24 inch should do it. the legacy lnb is not a prob. you will also need a switch if you get a separate dish for 129. as above, the 1000 is also a good choice.

I would also suggest getting a DP34 or DP44 switch since you are going to run both the viewsat and the sv-8000. Not sure what you have now, but you will have to think about how you are going to connect both the receivers. Do you have dual outputs from each of the LNB? If so, then you are okay and dont need the DP switches. You can just add another disecq switch.
