Signal but no Quality
I am still in the process of setting up my SV8000. I am very anxious to see it in action but I am having problems. First, I couldn't upload the newest bin file from my memory stick. It turns out that you can't use a big memory stick for it to work. I bought a small memory stick and was finally able to upload the newest bin file. I go to the Dish setting page and see a a Signal of 59 but a Quality of 0. If I pull the cable out and put it back in, I get high Quality for a few seconds and then it goes away. Is there maybe a problem with the box or with the settings? Here are my settings:
echostart 7
LNB type: ocs-dp
LNB freq: 11250
22khz: off
LNB pw: on
transponder: 12224 or 12239 (whichever works the best)
echostart 8,x
LNB type: ocs-dp
LNB freq: 11250
22khz: off
LNB pw: on
transponder: 12224 or 12239 (whichever works the best)
Is the reason I am getting no Quality because Sonicview is down? My CW800S is working fine. I can't wait to get my Sonicview working!

Re: Signal but no Quality
for echostar 7 it is port 1 and for echostar 8 it is set to off. Isn't Sonicview down anyways?

Re: Signal but no Quality
The dish is a Dish 1000. Maybe the reason the 1GB memory stick I tried to use failed because of the brand. The smaller one seemed to work. I will try and use the older bin but I'll have to wait to test it because it is raining hard right now and I am not getting a signal, even on my CW 800s. Thanks to everyone for their help.

Re: Signal but no Quality
I figured out it was the Transponder. I had to change it to 12239 but once I change it, how do I save the change? I hit ok and then exit but it goes back to the old setting and doesn't save. How do I save the change?

Re: Signal but no Quality
Does anyone know how to save the changes in the dish setting page when I change the transponder? I can get 73 strength and 99 quality but can't save it. I hit ok, exit but when I go back to check, the transponder change didn't save. How do I save the change? I am so close.
