Hello, I am slow to respond as we had a major system migration over the last several days. Yesterday, I slept..... Today back on a normal schedule.
Okay... I have a direct dish 1000.2 and at present I have it directed to 110 degrees west, and also have the other two LBN on a couple other satelites. NIMQ 2, Direct 1,5, echostar 7, echostar 1,8 .... I am pulling this off the top of my head but I believe this is what the satelite is synced up to.
I am realatively new to FTA but I had a direct TV satelite for quite a few years. My background is technology. Started in telecom and move to networking engineering and for the last 10 years I have been a globe trotter and heard about FTA. My wife is Indian and I got this a couple weeks ago to get away from cable and to figure this out and when I am comfortable with FTA I can then get Indian channels for my wife.
I had the service running for just over a week when the ECM hit. I loaded the 321, 322 and last the 323, which but as I stated it quit running. THe satelite has not moved and the cable is the same (RG-6). The only difference is the 323. Originally, the signal was ocillating between 69 and 70 with quality show 99.
The only difference or change to anything when it started showing 0 signal and 0 quality was when I loaded the BIN 323.
I am new enough not to understand all the idiosyncrosies of hardware and software loads on the receiver.
I am also a bit confused about the keys..... and how to load a key or whether the SV800HD requires them....
Thank you for your support.... I am looking forward to your response
Kind Regards,
Robert Jones
