Re: SD8000 Down?
Try doing a hard reboot with rear switch. Turn off with back switch, wait minute or so and power back on. Let us know...

Re: SD8000 Down?
Are you using this file???
http://www.abadss.com/forum/323-sv80...tml#post461900
If you are, try loading the factory file, this will erase all your settings, the file, and channels. Write down your sat settings first, enter the factory file, then enter the file I attached. reenter the sat settings you wrote down, rescan the sats. Let us know...

Re: SD8000 Down?
**** thing went down when I was trying to record the Belgium Grand Prix; when I did a hard re-boot, everything returned to normal, but the recorder only recorded the first half hour the **** race! Now I got to look for a download of the race.

your dumping all the memory when you hard reboot.don't do that when your recording.
or if you do,make sure to hit record again once its up.but of course if you cut power to a recorder it can't continue recording.
