Sv8000hd
I have a dish antennia with 129, 119, and 110, if I want to run an HD stb
what do I have to buy besides the stb, This will only be going to one TV.
Do I need a module and /or a power supply?
Thanks
Rich

Re: Sv8000hd
In DN HD channels you need a A1 8psk module in your SV8000HD so you can get the turbo TP freq(HD channels).

Re: Sv8000hd
What is the difference between a 1000 and a 1000.2? It is an 18'' x 24'' with three individual lnbs, 129,119, and 110.

Re: Sv8000hd
The DN1000.2 has an integrated LNB/switch assembly designed to receive 110-119-129W for up to 3 receivers. Its DProPlus technology allows one additional DP compatible LNB/dish to be connected.
The DN1000Plus is designed to receive 110-118.75-119-129W and requires a DPP44 switch for the DP LNBs. The 118.75W sat broadcasts a wide variety of foreign language channels for DN.
Both dishes can receive HD content, but the DN1000Plus would be a better choice if cost is not considered.
and yes you can receive 110. 119 and 129

Re: Sv8000hd
I just looked at grasshoppers dish info and it is a 1000, it also has the dpp 44 switch,
should i use the dpp 44 switch or just a regular disque switch? I also have the dish
power supply with it.

Re: Sv8000hd
You mean 1000+ right?
If yes,
DPP44 is required.
