SV-8000 Double Skip in Guide

Hi, I'm a new member here and I've use this forum as help when I was setting up my satellite.

I have a Dish 1000.2 with a triple LNB DPP. My SV-8000 has the A-1 tuner installed and is upgraded to the latest software V402_B207. It is connected to a Samsung LN40A650 via a Monoprice HDMI 1.3b certified category 2 cable.

The problem I'm having with the receiver is that in the Guide menu, when I use the Page Skip up or down button, the page skips twice even though I only pressed it once. It is getting really annoying when I'm scrolling through the guide.

Does anyone else have this problem? Do you think its hardware or software? My friend said it might be my HDMI cable because my TV is 120hz, but the cable is 1.3b certified and should be able to handle the bandwidth, so I don't think its that. Is there a fix or should I get this thing warrantied.
