Local channels hd
We cannot pick up local channels in HD. I will use channel 5 KPIX as
an example. When we scanned lnb 129 we have 358 channels,119 there are 297 channels and 110 has 420 channels. Channel 5 comes in on 110
tp 12588 and on 119 tp 12428 neither are HD. I checked the channels in
129 and there is no KPIX 5. Dishnetwork has 5 in HD, why aren't we
picking it up? Also we are using a dish pro plus for 110 & 119, when I
set the lnb on OSC-DP on 110 It misses a few tp such as 12384. when
the setting is changed to single for lnb type they scan ok. Can 110 be set on single instead of osc-dp and pick up all the channels?

Re: Local channels hd
If you have the DP LNB, your LNB type is OCS-DP. You should get all channels with this setting. Have you tried factory default and scanning again. Do you have 8PSK module installed???

Re: Local channels hd
It is a dp+ and the 8psk is installed. I was wondering if the local channels were
blocked from hd?

Re: Local channels hd
Local HD channels should not be blocked. Did you set up the locals in setup menu...

Re: Local channels hd
That should be channel 6439 for HD. Are you getting 6439?

Re: Local channels hd
Yes, sometimes your local channels will be on three different channels. KGO is 6438 HD KNTV is 6440, KTVU is 6441 and you know KPIX. There are HD channels in the "9000" range also. Good luck and enjoy!!
