CS8000 No PPV's

I have just got the new coolsat 8000 to work...it took 4 hrs. of me losing my mind...everything works great except the PPV's are missing...I made sure i scanned them in 110 Echo 8/10...Would like to know what i am doing wrong...

How sure are you that you scanned 110. Just because you select 110 in the receiver does not necessarily mean that you are on 110. A good way to check is to look at the channels you have and compare with the channels that lyngsat shows for 110. If you are pointing at 110, you should see the guide on channel 102, DIY on 111, fine living on 113, style on 115 etc.

If you see other channels on 110, you should see PPV also.

I agree with jpeterson...you likely don't really have 110 working.
Go into Menu to Dish Setting...then select sat 110 & check to verify 110...next select 119....again check for 119..repeat this a few times to be sure unit will shift sats.
After this...a wipe & rescan will be needed to get PPVs back.

I checked my scan and i do have DIY on channel 111, style is on 115, I have already tried to scan Echo 7 119...I get duplicate channels with no name <ex. 9955, 9963> but shows the Echo 8,10 110, equivelent with correct description of channels...And following satellitejunkie's help is what got me the channels that i am watching now...Just wanted to say thanks for everyone's help...This is great tech. support...

Hey big stinger...
Duplicate channels are due to accidentally scanning the same sat twice...when it looks like you are doing 2 sats.
If you use the Blind scan...your channels will be mixed up & without numbers.
If you use the Auto scan...you will get channels in numerical order & in category groups ie Sports / Premium Movies / PPVs / Adults etc.
Check your "Options" page settings...they should look as follows:

Use default CH name ON
Renumbering by SID ON
Sort by SID ON
Sort by SID after Scan OFF
Beep on scan the signal ON
Unlock lock CH after PIN OFF
Renumbering BEV ON
Auto CH/TP Update OFF
Renumbering Local CH (Select your City & State)

* See if your settings are correct & do the Factory Reset (wipe unit clean) followed by the Auto Scan.
* Scan 110 first & start by going to "Dish Setting" Page...select 110...then look for window to appear in "upper right corner" showing EchoStar 110W...after verification of Sat 110 lock in...hit Exit one time & go to AutoScan & 110 should appear on left...select it to highlight it...go over to Network Search...turn this ON...begin Scan.
Repeat this process again for 119, starting again with Dish Setting page to select 119 & verify it by watching for the window to appear in upper right corner displaying EchoStar 119W...then procede to AutoScan for 119.
Please refer to my CoolSatSetup Instructions for a step by step guide to walk you through the process. Open guide & do it as you read along.

I Reset the receiver back to factory reset, rescanned at LNB Freq. 11250...
Fixed my time setting...Everything is working fine...

I am getting All Porn, HBO's, Showtimes, CineMax, Channels...Locals...Everything but PPV's

Where do i find my "Options" Page on CS8000 - I don't see this menu

Use default CH name *ON*
Renumbering by SID *ON *
Sort by SID *ON*
Sort by SID after Scan *OFF*

I still can't find the autoroll option...

COOLSAT 8000 v110 02/14/07 i used this bin from grasshopper with the 2.24 Loader...(Is this the correct file?)

Is there anyone who can break this info down for me...please remember i am still new at this...This is way different than the Pansat 2500a receiver... Thanks
