I feel sorry for anyone that ran out and bought it they willbe PI$$ED I know i would be!!! As i am sure many people will be i can see the people that haev it when they switch to mpeg 4 the post will be FLYING!!! Good luck all

Coolsat claims their 8000 is "MPEG-2 & MPEG-4 Fully DVB Compliant." This information is in the 8000's User's Manual.
Maybe the NORW Group can write a program to make the 8000 compatable with the new format, and, maybe that "S/W fix" be downloaded thru the RS232 port. Or, it may turn out that hardware is needed to do this job, we'll have to wait and see.

Also, I think it will take some time for B3V to replace the MPEG-3 receivers they have out, which is a lot of them. So, the MPEG-3 data stream should continue for some months yet.

Coolsat 8000 is mpeg 4 compliant. even says so on the box and in the manual. other receivers are not. thats why the 8000 hd is the best out so far.

j'en ai un et il fonctionne très bien en HD sur b*v mais pas dn car aucun ne fonctionne sur dn sans module ext. Il fait du mpeg 4 a mon avis.

use factory file from 81000 then load the file for the 8100 on it and it will runn make sure u do factory for 8000 then the 8100 factory file
