I have tried everything to get the newest file in cs8000 and it is not working. I was able to do the latest factory. This box works. It was being used. Just trying to help a friend but I seem to be no help with this. Followed steps in bible but no success.
to load the latest file for the coolsat 8000 follow these steps:
1-download the latest bin file
then follow these instructions:
Ensure the CSReceiver is off, rear switch is in OFF position
o Run the CSUpgrade_v3.01
o Select the following settings and :
�� MODE – Download
�� TYPE - Firmware, channels
�� SERIAL PORT – match the number assigned by your USB/Serial
�� Click BROWSE and find CS8000HD_11163F.sgn
�� Click OPEN PORT and go to the next Step

o Turn CSReceiver on from the rear switch
o When ‘ld” start flashing on the screen the receiver enters the Loading mode and can accept
programming. Click START in the CSUpgrade_v3.01 loader.
