i can only think that the programmers have hit a major stumbling block with these cs8000 recievers, with all the negative comments directed their way and support being questioned not to mention the number of people jumping ship($$$$$$$$$$). it is of my opinion that with all the negativity directed at the cs recievers they would be working ot to at least find a partial solution to our problem, this has not happened as of jan 10 2008 therefor i can only assume it is bad and they cant at this time correct the problem. what i feel is lacking with these programmers is that they give u absolutely no info as far as what is happening, all we see is everyoneelse recieving fixes while we sit and wait in the dark with no insight whatsoever. i cant say i blame anyone for feeling a little left out and yes angry at what is going on with this unit at this time. we are only human and yes we do vent our anger sometimes maybe even to the wrong people. what i do know is that many people spent a large amount of money on these units and for someone to let us know what is going on is not a lot to ask. thanks

Look on the bright side, at least you do not own a Captain unit, a buddy of mine has a Captain 8000HD unit, that camp has been without a bin since X-Mas Day (talk about an extended vacation).

In all seriousness though, everyone understands your frustration, its not a lot of fun thinking perhaps you had made the wrong choice in the selection of your receiver, but I can assure your unit selection was good, its just that with larger product lines (such as CS) the demands on the ones who write the software increases.

The downside of this is that some units seem to get less urgency attached to them than others.

Hang in there ... a file will come.
