My Coolsat 8000 is running the latest bin. Even though I only use my 8000 for true FTA on my C-band dish, I decided to see if I could free up enough memory to get the EPG to come up for BEV. Thus, I pointed a DISH 500 dish at BEV (91/82) and began to experiment.

I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE IF THIS "TRICK" HAS ALREADY BEEN POSTED TO THE GROUP!

I found that by going to the "Transponder Edit" menu and deleting all of the possible transponders that I could free up enough memory to allow the BEV EPG to come up completely for channels on both 91 and 82 for at least the current time (and sometimes for an hour or two into the future) Remember to have your 8000 set for the proper time zone. Here are the steps that I followed to get the EPG to work for BEV:

1) Load the latest bin (11.310F) onto the Coolsat 8000
2) Align a DISH 500 for 91 and 82
3) Do a complete reset-to-factory-defaults
4) Auto-Search for all channels on 91 and 82
5) Go to the "Transponder Edit" menu
6) Delete all of the transponders that the 8000 will let you delete.
6a) For many transponders, the 8000 doesn't let you delete them -- it says they're "in use".
7) Enjoy the complete BEV EPG

I think this creates a great opportunity to correct the epg, if its just a memory issue....if we can adjust the fix in such a way where we can delete all the transponders and birds we aren't using we may be back in business...just my 2 cents

nope this is for coolsat.
there is a guide for epg loading in the pansat 2700 help section as a sticky thread tho.
