cs8000 supportl...
Do any of the moderators, esp. Aboristman, think there will ever again be continued fix releases for the cshd8000? I'm absolutely not being sarcastic, but I am concerned about not only short term relief, abut also long term relief and support. I ask because I am considering going out on a limb again shelving the cs8000, even though it delivers a tremendous picture, and purchasing a sonicview8000 with, hopefully, the 8psk module. I am on limited income and have to wait until the 1st of the month to make any purchase, so I would appreciate any advice you may consent to give. Thanks in advance.

Re: cs8000 supportl...
you know, for bev only hd fta receivers there are better choices imo.
the neusat 9k once neosat starts tossing out bins.
captain 8k
for a couple examples.
and they run at just around 200 bucks.
the 8k coolsat doesn't sound good from what iv read.i would throw it on ebay and move on.
the days of waiting for coders to get the work done is over.there are to many choices out there now.
stick with the ones that are working good "now" and forget about the "latter" it "could" or "hope" it gets better.
thats a waste of time.trust me.
stick with whats good as is for the money at the time.or don't get it.
this approach will MAKE the coders work,or we don't buy.thats the way it should be.to many great choices now to wait around on coders.to many great coding teams doing it right now.
i think the sv 8k is a great example of what to buy now is.yes.good choice.
nothing direct about/against norw here.this is just general for all.8khd example.

i wouldn't do that.you will be in about the same state.
paying to much for an hd receiver that only does bev.
and it has many bugs.
i have the 9200 and do not recommend this to anyone at this time.
way to many basic bugs.no where near the features it should have either.
trust me buddy,keep looking.
