hd on nimiq2 but not on echostar 8/10, help please

Hi, I have the coolsat8000hd. Everything is working fine except there is no hd on echostar 8/10. I get all the hd on nimiq2 fine but can not get any hd on echostar 8/10. Any help?

In order to watch the DN HD channels you need to add the 8psk HD module to your receiver.

and from what I could find the CS8000 doesn't support an 8psk module and mpeg-4 format, which is what DN HD channels use.
This is one of the reasons the CS8000 was discontinued.

hmm i did some reading and found out that there is no 8psk HD module for the coolsat 8000hd. Is this true?

The only receivers supporting the 8psk module right now are VS9000, SV8000 and PS9000.

do those modole above has the 8psk built in? If it doesn't, are there any models that has it built in already?

None of those models come with a factory built-in 8psk module. There are some retailers that sell the units with a pre-installed module, you can also purchase the module and install it yourself. Its very easy to do.
