I am setting as friends 8k up downloaded the up date package and then the file all channels there loaded by cable and turned off said loaded left on all day no audio or video and did hard reset still not great signal and quality any ideas guys?

well its probably just antenna settings.
what kind of dish/lnbs/switch/etc does he have?where's he pointed? and what are the current settings?

I understand why and its such a pain to set up I think I have it but file not working but dont know I have all Viewsats and a sonic view my are all up so dont know the deal with this thanks anyway

this file is working try the dlean hd sw first reload form serial null cable works fine but seems to have some remote freezing maybe the mods can look into this
