Are you running xp with an microsoft office program on it like office 2007 or 2000?Sounds like your missing files in your system directory then.

Yes i do run xp mocrosoft ofice 2003

ok here pm me your e-mail address and i will send you the system file you are missing .. to get to it you have to go local disk c: then windows then system32 then scroll down until you get to comctl32.ocx.. then copy and paste the file i send you and overwrite it restart your computer and try again ..
