For those of you having problems with lockups and switching. In most cases this is a configuration issue. To verify you can go to Menu->Install->Satellite Setup. From this Menu you should see all of your Satellites listed. While scrolling up and down the list of satellites in this menu, pay close attention to 2 things... 1. the signal/quality meter and 2. the Satellite Identifier which appears under the map on the upper right side of the screen. If a question mark appears there at any time or the words Unknown show up, then you definitely have a switching or configuration issue and should choose OK for that satellite to edit the switching configuration. Note: 119 needs to have Port/sat/lnb 1 settings... 110 needs to have Port/sat/lnb 2 settings and 91 needs to have Port/sat/lnb 3 settings. Also, check your High/Low frequency settings... Here is a little pointer:
STANDARD = High 11250 Low 9750 (Change the LNB type to Universal and then back to STANDARD to set the Local Frequency (Low) to 9750 because it's greyed out)
LEGACY TWIN LNB1/LNB2 = High 11250 Low 11250
OSC = High 14350 Low 11250
Regarding the DN EPG population the best sugestion is this: Verify that your time and EPG Number of Days settings are correct, put the box on Channel 300(HBO) and press the red power button on the remote. EPG is coded to populate while the box is in standby. Wait 20 minutes and check it out.
