locked out - ABA DSS

just turned on my new magnum. learning how to navigate the remote and i come to a pop up window for PIN #, finally find in the manual what factory preset is but it doesnt work. cant access anything on install menue but had access earlier. any one have an ideas for my problem.

Try the Master Pin Code which is 1818 for your receiver.

There are 2 master numbers either 0000 or 1818! why? I'm not sure, it seems like the first few batch's had 0000 and all the new ones are 1818.

There is a master pin code (you cannot change and always works) and a user pin code (that you can change). The user pin code is 0000 from the factory. Someone might have changed it.

I am not sure, but the user pin code could have gotten changed via a bin file flash. I have also heard of people claiming their pin codes just changed by itself at times, but I think it may got changed from a flash.

In any event, it is best to know your master pin code for your receiver.
