Warning about Extremeview Products
C/P
It has recently come to my attention that the extremeview camp could be introducing a new model to their lineup. As a magnum owner for some time now I can honestly say I am anything but pleased with the performance, or lack there of. I would highly suggest that anyone thinking of spending their hard earned dollars on an extremeview product I would suggest looking at another brand. At the current time extremeview has only one receiver to support, and they are failing misserably at best. Other companies such as captiveworks, pansat, viewsat and coolsat come through with quick fixes and true support across a vast number of receivers in their respected camps. I would be happy if the EV peeps got things together but until then, I would stay away and let time tell the tale. You have been warned.
Here is the list of good receivers with good support:

Think twice before you buy any receivers and always buy from trusted sellers.

Re: Warning about Extremeview Products
I believe they might be planning on phasing out the 4400 as well.... I would beware all together!!! $99.00 PVR? Almost to good to be true.... There are lawsuits out there against VS claiming their coders and them are linked... Well it seems this last receiver is built for pirating tv... (my opinion) I'm probably jumping to conclusions, but they want you to by this receiver directly from them... Looks like Names and info gathering to me....
My 2 cents... Take it for what it's worth... I think Extreimview and TR are at their last straw...
I hope I'm wrong, I have forum friends that plan on buying these to test and give reviews for everybody...
